Stewart Credit Union was granted a charter on December 14, 1956, authorizing it to conduct the business of a Credit Union under the laws of the State of Texas.
The Credit Union is governed by a Board of Directors, consisting of five members whose terms of office is for two years (Three (3) directors and two (2) directors are elected every other year at the annual share holders meeting.) The board of Directors, in turn, elects the officers and appoints a credit committee that approves loans.
